Methodology
Structured enquiry, applied the same way every time.
Why Independent Standards Matter
Recognised classifications, awards and ratings remain valuable.
However, today's executive decision-makers are expected to choose between organisations that are already recognised for excellence.
Our methodology therefore focuses not on replacing existing recognition, but on providing an additional layer of independent executive confidence where important decisions are made.

Scoping
We establish the decision to be supported, the constraints around it and the confidentiality terms. Nothing proceeds until the question is precise.
Research
Primary enquiry, documentary review or structured field observation. Sources are recorded so that every statement can be traced.
Verification
Findings are corroborated independently. Where a matter cannot be verified, we say so plainly rather than presenting it as established.
Analysis
Evidence is assessed against defined criteria and against the client's actual decision: comparative, weighted and free of promotional language.
Delivery
Executive Findings, issued in writing to a named recipient and followed by a confidential executive debrief. Recognition determination, where applicable, follows the evidence.
Standing principles
Independence. We accept no commission, referral fee, sponsorship or other commercial incentive from the organisations we assess or the subjects we evaluate.
Professional assessment fees compensate us solely for the time, expertise and resources required to conduct an independent assessment. They do not influence our findings, opinions, conclusions, recognition decisions or editorial judgement.
Licensing of Oasis Mark intellectual property, recognition marks or brand assets is available only following successful recognition and under the terms of the applicable licensing agreement. Such licensing has no influence on assessment outcomes, editorial decisions or future evaluations.
Organisations that successfully satisfy the Oasis Mark Independent Standards Framework may become eligible for one or more of the following, subject to the applicable criteria:
- ·Oasis Mark Recognition
- ·Inclusion in relevant Oasis Mark directories
- ·Editorial consideration for selected publications and research outputs
- ·Licensed use of approved Oasis Mark recognition marks
- ·Pre-qualification for participation in future Oasis Mark ecosystem initiatives
Eligibility does not constitute an automatic right to inclusion, publication, recommendation or participation. All decisions remain subject to independent assessment, editorial judgement and the objectives of the relevant publication or initiative.
Discretion. Mandates, findings and client identities are confidential. Briefs are prepared for a named recipient and are not resold, syndicated or reused.
Proportion. We write what the decision requires and no more. Length is not a measure of rigour.
Every mandate begins with a conversation about the decision itself.
